Marika D’Anna is a young ballerina from Naples, Italy, who took part in multiple ballet photography shoots in 2025 across a variety of inspiring locations. The sessions ranged from atmospheric outdoor settings around the city to carefully composed indoor concepts, each designed to highlight her remarkable versatility and presence.
Currently dancing at the prestigious Teatro di San Carlo while also training and performing with an additional dance school, Marika combines professional discipline with youthful drive. Despite her slightly smaller stature, she possesses an exceptionally powerful stage presence. Extremely athletic and extraordinarily flexible, she demonstrates beautifully defined ballet lines while also excelling in modern and contemporary dance styles.
Her high energy and dynamic movement quality translate effortlessly into photography, creating images that feel both explosive and sculptural. Marika’s strong focus and natural confidence in front of the camera allow for precise, expressive poses as well as emotionally charged action shots. Open-minded and eager to explore creative concepts, she embraced experimental ideas with enthusiasm, resulting in a diverse and visually compelling ballet photography series.
