Ballerina Rosy Nguyen

Rosy Nguyen is a young Vietnamese ballet dancer connected with the ballet training environment of the Staatliche Ballett- und Artistikschule Berlin, also known in English as The State Ballet School Berlin. Her background brings a fresh international touch to the Contourz Ballet Photography collection, combining Vietnamese roots with professional ballet education in Berlin.

Rosy started working with Contourz Ballet Photography at a very young age, around twelve years old. This makes her photo series especially interesting, because the images show an early stage of artistic development, with a young dancer learning how ballet technique, expression, lighting, pose, and camera awareness can come together in professional ballet photography.

In front of the camera, Rosy appeared elegant, focused, and naturally motivated. She brought a calm and serious ballet presence into the studio, with clean basic lines, pointed feet, soft port de bras, relevé, tendu, arabesque-inspired shapes, simple attitude positions, and graceful upper body placement. Her ballet work was still developing, but already created visually interesting and charming results.

Rosy’s shoots were mainly focused on ballet, but also included some creative aerial hoop images. This added a different artistic layer to the series, connecting classical dance with elements of flexibility, balance, suspension, and circus-inspired movement. The aerial hoop photos gave the shoot a more experimental feeling, while the ballet images kept the focus on elegance, line, posture, and young dancer expression.

With Contourz Ballet Photography, Rosy took part in creative studio shoots in Berlin, including sessions at WE Studio Berlin and Fotostyle Mietstudio Berlin. These indoor settings worked well for her, because the controlled light, simple backgrounds, and studio atmosphere made it possible to focus on face, pose, ballet line, movement details, and the contrast between classical dance and creative visual concepts.

Her images are especially interesting because they feel fresh and authentic. Rosy was still very young, but she showed curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to try different ideas in front of the camera. This gave the shoots a personal and spontaneous quality, somewhere between ballet portrait, young dancer portfolio, studio experiment, and creative performance photography.

Rosy has a soft and elegant ballerina appearance, with a pleasant face and a calm photographic expression. Her images work well for young ballerina portraits, Berlin ballet photography, artistic studio dance images, and creative ballet portfolio work. She brings a gentle visual quality that fits both simple classical ballet poses and more playful creative concepts.

Rosy Nguyen adds a youthful, international, and creative presence to the Contourz Ballet Photography project. With her Vietnamese background, Berlin ballet school connection, early ballet photo shoots, studio-based sessions, and additional aerial hoop images, she represents an interesting young dancer captured at an early and promising stage of artistic development.
