In August 2025 ballerina Sofia Carbone from Naples had her very first photoshoot. It was a truly special occasion set against the unique backdrop of Lungomare di Rovigliano. The wide open area with Mount Vesuvius rising powerfully in the distance created a striking stage for an exciting summer session. Under the warm southern light Sofia’s blue bikini highlighted her athletic physique and gave her poses a clear and confident presence.
The shoot unfolded in two parts. First on the expansive ground plate of the former industrial site, where the open space and dramatic volcanic scenery provided a powerful frame for her ballet-inspired movements. Later the session moved down to the black sand beach and into the sea itself, a playful and refreshing contrast that brought lightness and spontaneity to the images.
The focus was on ballet photography, capturing Sofia’s strength, elegance and expressive character. At the same time moments of pure modeling added variety and revealed another side of her personality. Open-minded, fit and naturally creative in front of the lens, she made the atmosphere joyful and inspiring throughout. This first photoshoot became not only a memorable experience but also a vibrant showcase of both her talent and the unique possibilities of the Lungomare di Rovigliano location.
